What we collect, and what we don't

Nino34 is a small, independent site, and we've tried to keep this policy as short and honest as the site itself. Here's what we collect, why, and how to opt out.

What we collect

  • Email address, only if you sign up. If you opt into email alerts, we store the email address you give us so we can send you the two kinds of emails described on that page: a note when the ENSO Advisory status changes, and a monthly digest after each CPC release. If you don't sign up, we don't collect an email address at all.
  • Standard server logs and analytics. Like most websites, our hosting and analytics tools automatically log basic technical information — things like IP address, browser type, and which pages were viewed — to keep the site running and understand overall traffic. This is standard, aggregate-level information, not tied to your name.
  • Advertising cookies. This site runs Google AdSense, which may use cookies to serve and measure ads, potentially including personalized ads based on your browsing elsewhere. We don't control that mechanism directly — it's governed by Google's own advertising and privacy policies, which you can review through your Google account's ad settings.

How we use it

Email addresses are used only to send the alerts you signed up for. We don't sell, rent, or otherwise share your email address with third parties. Server logs and aggregate analytics are used to keep the site working and to understand which pages are useful, not to build individual profiles of visitors.

Your choices

You can unsubscribe from email alerts at any time — every alert email includes an unsubscribe link, and it takes effect immediately. You can also control ad personalization and cookies through your own browser settings and your Google account's ad preferences.

No sale of personal data

We do not sell your personal data. Full stop.
